this sketch was done as part of the 'mapping your parts' exercise from no bad parts by richard schwartz. at the time, this sad part was being protected by a manager part (future dweller) who was afraid of being present because that meant letting go of a person who was (and remains) dear to me. when i asked the manager to give me space, sadness came forward. i am resistant to this part. this sadness, but i learned from the exercise that this part needs to be seen. (nov 2021)
